My boyfriend and I are going to Chicago March 6-9. We’ve found a nice not too expensive hotel to stay in outside of town (The Write Inn Hotel), but we are open to suggestion for interesting places to go while we’re there. I’ve been there once and he’s never been. We’re going to a Blue Man Group show, the planetarium, the aquarium, and probably Navy Pier, but other than that we aren’t sure what we’re going to do- any ideas? My boyfriend and I’s anniversary is coming up so we were thinking about going to Chicago for the day but we want to stay for a night because we live three hours away. Problem is I can’t find any affordable hotels that a primary guest only has to be nineteen. I’ve tried hotwire, orbitz, priceline, etc. Any advice?

That really depends on where you want to stay and what kind your definition of cheap is. If you want to stay downtown, like most major cities you are not going to find anything cheap that is not roach infested. I stayed at the Marriott Mag Mile and loved it.
