Around $ 40.
A cheaper alternative is taking the orange line to Midway ($ 2.50). The orange line (quincy/wells) is about 4 blocks away from Union station (canal/adams).

I have a red eye flight out of Midway on Sunday Morning and will be nearby on late Saturday night, so I was planning to just go and spend 3 hours at the airport, but as it will be very early in the morning I wondered if they ever “close” i.e. no-one allowed inside until a certain time.

Might be a stupid question, but answers appreciated.

Friends have been saying that don’t go all by your self in Midaway airport area in chicago as they say it is unsafe. They say there are crazy things going on there and its never a good idea specially to go if you are a girl(They have been advising my GF this). Anyone has any idea on this????

I’m flying in to Midway airport on Friday, March 20. I arrive at 2pm and need to get to the Crowne Plaza hotel on W Madison. What is the best way to get there? Taxi? Shuttle? Train?

We are trying to find the best way to the Intercontinental hotel from the airport.

If you want to get to the hotel doorstep, no you can’t take the L all the way. Take the Orange line to the Library stop then catch the # 146 bus at State and Van Buren. Go north to Michigan & Hubbard (Tribune Bldg.) then walk about 1 block north to the hotel.

Or where can I find this information? My flight comes into Chicago on Thursday morning. I know how long the train rides are, I just need to know what trains to take.

The orange line to downtown, (state and lake) then the South Shore train, after that not sure, but the South shore goes to south bend, IN
